Their journey began with crafting innovative prototypes that quickly became essential to enhancing outdoor dining experiences. This transformative impact inspired us to share our creations with the world. Driven by this passion, the designs earned three patents—one utility and two design—from the U.S. Patent Office, marking the start of a new chapter for balcony living.

Challenges

Balconista faced significant challenges in expanding into the European market, where navigating complex regulations, language barriers, and cultural differences presented considerable obstacles. Without an in-depth understanding of these nuances, establishing meaningful connections with suppliers and distributors was a daunting task. Additionally, introducing innovative balcony products into a market unfamiliar with the brand required careful positioning and effective communication.

Our Approach

SLG Trade Group is working closely with Balconista to bridge the gaps created by language barriers and cultural differences while crafting a comprehensive strategy to target key markets. Leveraging our expertise in European markets, were facilitating introductions to distributors, hotels, and residential customers, ensuring seamless communication and effective negotiations.

We also identified opportunities to showcase Balconista’s innovative products at prominent trade shows across Europe, attending on their behalf and presenting their offerings to a wide audience of potential clients and distributors.

Since starting with with Balconista, SLG Trade Group successfully imported a pallet of Balconista products in expanding its reach across Europe. Key deliverables include:

  • Distributor Network: Establishing connections with reliable distributors, Hotels and Residential customers across multiple countries.
